Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account on Event Super OS ("Platform"), you ("Studio") agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.

2. The service

Event Super OS is a software-as-a-service platform for event studios to plan, run, and bill events. We host the software; you bring the events and clients.

3. Plans and billing

Free plan is genuinely free, forever, with the limits documented on the pricing page.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Annual plans get 20% off.
You can upgrade anytime — pro-rated. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
14-day money-back guarantee on the first paid invoice, no questions asked. Email billing@eventsuperos.com within 14 days of payment.
After 14 days, refunds are pro-rated for unused annual time only.
Indian customers are billed in INR with applicable GST. International customers in INR (your bank converts at live FX) or USD on annual plans.

4. Plan limits

Your plan caps the number of active events, guests per event, team seats, and client portals. The Platform enforces these limits at the database level — exceeding them blocks new creation but never deletes existing data. Upgrade to lift the limit.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Platform to:

Spam guests with messages they didn't consent to receive
Store data you don't have legal right to (stolen guest lists, scraped contacts)
Reverse-engineer the Platform or scrape data via the UI
Send malware or phishing links through invitations / vouchers
Operate as a competitor while accessing our internal product information

Violations may result in suspension under Section 9 with no refund.

6. Your data, your ownership

You own all data you upload. We are a processor, not a controller, of your event & guest data. We will never:

Sell your data
Use your event data to train AI models
Share guest contact details with advertisers

You can export everything anytime in JSON/CSV via Settings → Privacy → Data export.

7. Our data, our IP

The Platform's code, design, brand, and templates remain our intellectual property. White-label customers receive a limited license to re-brand the surface — see DPA for terms.

8. Uptime & SLA

Free / Starter / Pro: commercially-reasonable best effort, no formal SLA.
Enterprise: 99.9% monthly uptime SLA. If we miss it in a given month, you get pro-rated service credits — see your contract.
Scheduled maintenance is announced 48 hours in advance via /status and the in-app banner.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend your account for: non-payment after 14 days past due, acceptable-use violations, or court order. We will notify you and provide a reason (where legally permitted). You can cancel anytime in Settings → Billing.

After cancellation, your data is read-only for 90 days, then archived for 90 more, then permanently deleted — unless you request earlier deletion.

10. Liability

We make no warranties beyond those explicitly stated. Our total liability for any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or business interruption.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited under Indian law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the Platform in violation of Section 5, or from data you uploaded that you didn't have the legal right to upload.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes get 30 days' notice via email and an in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date = acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Enterprise customers may negotiate alternative venues in their contract.
